Karen Newman rubbed the sleep out of her blue eyes as she sat up in bed
and looked out the window of her parents’ shoreside summer home on
Nantucket Island. Summer was just beginning and she had the entire
house and grounds to herself, as her family was off traveling around
the world. Karen, an attractive, rich, even spoiled, young woman, was
beginning vacation from college and had just hired a young man,
Richard, to serve as a gardener, to live on estate and tend to the
property. When Richard arrived, she showed him his modest room by the
garage and put him to work tending the garden and cleaning up the dock
down at the water.
Working in field the next day, she accidentally got some black tar on
his shorts. It was her fault, so telling him she wanted to clean them
using a powerful solvent, she asked him to remove his shorts. He
protested, partly because he was wearing nothing underneath, but she
insisted, eventually ordering him to remove them, which he did, leaving
him completely nude. Back in the house, she cleaned his shorts as he
continued to work clearing weeds. When she returned his shorts at the
end of the day, clean and pressed, she apologized, all the while

The next day, Karen told Richard how much she enjoyed yesterday and

The next week Karen assigned him a difficult scraping and painting job.
Richard was reluctant to paint in the hot sun while nude and so for the
first time he refused to obey her direct command. The spoiled and
hot-tempered Karen dragged his naked body by the hair and tied his
wrists behind a tree, then lectured him and slapped his face. The sight
of the nude and bound Richard reminded Karen of when she was only nine,
when she and her girlfriend tied their two older brothers to
